If you dismissed the install prompt, no worries — you can still add Tweak to your home screen manually.
Make sure you have tweakYourRecipe.com open in your browser before following the steps below — any page on the site will do.
Tweak must be opened in Safari for this to work. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not support adding to the home screen.
Get the Tweak icon on your home screen
Tap “Add” in the top-right corner. Tweak will appear on your home screen like a native app.
These steps work in Chrome. Other browsers may vary slightly.
Get the Tweak icon on your home screen
Tap the three-dot menu ( ⋮ ) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app” — the label depends on your version of Chrome.
Tap “Install” or “Add” in the confirmation dialog.
Prefer the in-app prompt?
If you dismissed the banner that appeared at the bottom of the screen, you can bring it back here.
On a Mac, Tweak can be installed as its own app that opens in its own window, separate from your browser.
Get the Tweak icon in your Dock
Don’t see it? Open the ⋮ or ⋯ menu in the top-right corner and look for “Install Tweak”.
Click “Install” in the dialog. Tweak opens in its own window and adds a shortcut to your Applications and Launchpad.
From the menu bar, choose File → Add to Dock…
Click “Add”. Tweak is added to your Dock and opens in its own window, just like a regular Mac app.
